The Apple iPad Pro has turned out to be an exceptional medium for creating awesome digital paintings and lettering artwork. The Procreate app has a great brush engine and an easy to use interface that can be used to very easily learn lettering on the iPad.
I love creating custom lettering brushes for the Procreate app that produce some unique effects that the standard brushes don't. Check out some of my brushes in my shop.
With a pressure sensitive stylus, particularly the App Pencil, it is so much easier to learn to draw thick and thin strokes, compared to brush and paper. You will be thanking your stars for the "Undo" button.
Don't be limited by the colours you have or the type of paints or the right kind of paper. There is nothing to spill or clean up, except of course for coffee, which is fine. Coffee is a friend.
Don't let travel and work stop you from doing your new favourite thing to do. No art supplies to carry with you, all you need is your trusted iPad, Pencil and coffee.
